Our 2023 Annual String Quartet Masterclass featured four ensembles, three from Ronald Reagan High School and one from Sonia Sotomayor High School, performing works by Mozart, Borodin, Britten and Kodaly, With our long-time second violinist, Anastasia Parker, on sabbatical, the Camerata SA Quartet was thrilled to invite violinist Laura Scalzo to teach with us.
Another new addition this year was the support of our new sponsors, The Texas Violin Shop! In addition to their financial support of the class, Texas Violin Shop enhanced the entire experience by showing us all how to keep our instruments sound their best (so we can too). Their presentation was not only highly informative, but also very entertaining! Thank you, Samantha and Estefan!
